YOUTH ACTION COUNCIL

Montville Youth Action Council's mission is provide opportunities for Middle School & High School Youth to develop and promote responsibility, leadership, interest in the community and positive social development through active participation in the formation, coordination and delivery in the community projects, fundraising and social/recreational activities.
We are looking for new members for both our middle school and our high school chapters of YAC. Being part of YAC is a privilege and requires a commitment to one hour long meeting per month, additional meetings for subcommittees, volunteering opportunities, and possible night or weekend activities. (Approximately 4 to 10 hours per month.)
The YOUTH ACTION COUNCIL will be working in subcommittees on different topics; Stall Street Journal, Community Outreach Projects, Penny Drive, Stocking Drive, Public Service Announcements, and Asset Development Poster Campaign.
